How to choose

  2. 2Check the thickness and the back of the slab: cracks and heavy filling show there.
  3. 3Plan for diamond polishing after laying, and sealing to reduce stains.
  4. 4For kitchen counters, granite or quartz handles acidic spills better than marble.

Indian or Italian marble: which should I choose?

Indian marble is sturdier and better value for large floors. Italian marble has a more premium look but is softer and needs more care.

Is marble better than vitrified tiles?

Marble is natural, lasts generations and can be re-polished, but costs more and needs care. Vitrified tiles are cheaper, uniform and low-maintenance.
