giniespaces (“we”) runs giniespaces.com, a platform where owners, agents and PG operators list properties and seekers find them. This policy explains what personal data we collect and why, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Your mobile number, used to log you in with a one-time code. For listers: listing details, photos, the property address and location pin you provide, and the result of identity and ownership checks. We do not store your ID document numbers. For seekers: the listings whose contact details you view, and any reports you send. Photo location is recorded only as a pin for our moderators; hidden camera data is removed from the photos.

How we use it

To run your account, show listings, share an owner’s number with signed-in seekers who ask for it, review listings for safety, and prevent fraud. The exact address and location pin are never shown publicly. We use privacy-friendly visitor statistics that do not use cookies.

Who we share it with

Our hosting and SMS providers, only to run the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to [CONTACT EMAIL]. Our grievance officer is [NAME, EMAIL].

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it within [X] days of a deletion request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
